The reason ?

La prise de conscience de la dangerosité des UV provient souvent d’une expérience personnelle.

I (Claudia) have Lupus, an autoimmune disease, and every sunburn can make the symptoms much worse.

Chaque été, je cherchais à me protéger efficacement du soleil sans utiliser trop de crème solaire que je trouve collante, qui est nocive pour les océans et qui serait aussi potentiellement dangereuse pour notre santé. Je cherchais donc toujours des vêtements pour me protéger du soleil, mais je n’ai jamais réussi à trouver des pièces qui me protègent bien et dans lesquels je me sens belle et femme. Les seuls vêtements protecteurs étaient soit très sport, soit très surfeur. Pour ne pas devoir expliquer à tout le monde pourquoi j’étais mal habillée, et me rappeler ma maladie, je préférais ne pas sortir dehors quand il y avait beaucoup de soleil.

Cependant, lors d’un voyage au Japon, j’ai trouvé là-bas des vêtements qui étaient très sympas et protecteurs, je me suis donc dit que je pourrai peut-être en faire profiter d’autres personnes en France. Ker-Sun était né !

Unfortunately, we are not there yet... Skin cancer still affects about 80,000 people every year. At Ker-Sun, we are convinced that if sun protection becomes a pleasure, then many more people will protect themselves.

C’est pour ça qu’on propose des vêtements qui sont sympas, tendances, confortables et qui protègent des UV. Et bien sûr on propose cela pour toute la famille : bébé, garçon, fille, femme & homme.

Notre quotidien 

Notre travail consiste principalement à sélectionner, à travers le monde, des supers accessoires et vêtements anti-UV qui feront plaisir à mettre. Chez Ker-Sun vous trouverez donc :

Who are we ?

Behind Ker-Sun, there is a small team of two person:

Claudia: the creative one of the team. She selects the products and negotiates them to offer you the best prices. She is also the one who initiated the project.
Nicolas: who keeps the web-site running and takes care of all the paperwork.

We are based in Annecy, near the lake, which allows us to test our products in all conditions.
