Ker Sun was born from a personal story.

Ker Sun was not created by chance — it was born from a deeply personal experience.

“At the age of 20, I was diagnosed with lupus, an autoimmune disease whose symptoms can be severely worsened by sun exposure. Every year, the arrival of warm, sunny days brought a major challenge: how could I live a normal life while being sure that my skin was fully protected from the sun at all times?

The answer was clear: most sun-protective clothing available had a surfer or sporty look — nothing that could truly serve as a complete wardrobe for everyday wear. Because these clothes reminded me of my illness, and because I was tired of having to constantly explain my appearance, I often chose to stay indoors when the sun was shining brightly.

In 2019, I decided it was time to take action. Together with my husband, we created Ker Sun. Since day one, we have poured all our energy into one essential mission: to provide sun protection solutions that are effective, elegant, and truly adapted to everyone’s needs — especially for the most sensitive or sun-intolerant skin.”
