Does the UPF 50+ protection ever wash out?

The UPF 50+ protection does not wash out.

Our sun protective expertise has allowed us to develop fabrics that filter UV rays mechanically. Thanks to the meticulous choice of textile fibers, their optimized density and our advanced weaving techniques, we guarantee a UPF 50+ protection, without added sunscreens, which persists throughout the life of the product, even after many washes.

To preserve the quality and durability of your product, we recommend that you follow care instructions carefully specified on this product sheet (see above) or on the label.

Do I need to apply sunscreen underneath my UPF 50+ clothing?

With Ker Sun sun protective clothing and accessories, there’s no need to apply sunscreen on covered areas.

However, for full protection, it’s important to apply sunscreen to any exposed skin. We recommend applying sunscreen 30 minutes before sun exposure and reapplying every two hours or after swimming, in accordance with the instructions for the product you’re using.

Pilling

Es schützt wohl gut gegen uv Strahlung.
Leider hat es nach zwei mal tragen sofort Pilling bekommen, was unschön aussieht und so wirkt, als hätte ich das Teil schon ewig. Außerdem klappt einer der Ärmel ständig um. Es ist eigentlich so gedacht, dass man es so oder so tragen kann. Ich hätte ihn lieber über der Hand als ständig umgekrempelt.

Robe très agréable à porter

Tissu agréable au toucher et qualitatif. Couleur magnifique. Détails de protection contre les UV bien réfléchis : extrémités de col aimantés, manchettes plus longues sur le dessus de la main. Il manque un peu de longueur, afin que la robe protége le bas des jambes ( je mesure 1m62). La forme droite gêne quand on est habitué à marcher vite et à faire de grandes enjambées.

Sowohl der Stoff und die Passform gefallen mir viel besser ls ich erwartet habe. Das Kleid ist leicht und es fühlt sich sehr gut auf der Haut an. Zu wissen, dass man vor der Sonne geschützt ist, wird dann zu einem wunderbaren Plus bei diesem wunderschönen Kleid!

Très satisfaite de mon grand chapeau et de l'ombrelle.
Par contre, sur les vêtements, pas entièrement satisfaite, ils protègent peut-être, mais ils tiennent trop chaud. Avec la canicule, ce n'est vraiment pas possible de les porter... Vraiment dommage, car j'ai investi beaucoup d'argent dans des articles qui dorment au placard, d'autant plus que ce n'est même pas du coton... Ce sont vraiment des matières qui tiennent chaud naturellement, même sans la chaleur... Je suis honnête lorsque je vous le dis sincèrement.

In principe een fijne jurk, hij beschermt je goed tegen de zon. Hij is wel wat warm op dagen boven de 30 graden. Dan zie je ook gauw zweetdruppeltjes terug in de stof. Verder is het een goed product!

Modisches Kleid

Ein wirklich schönes, leichtes Kleid aus weichem, fließendem Material.
Praktische Features wie Magnetknöpfe in den Kragenspitzen zum Verschließen der Halspartie, wenn man dies möchte.
Den Bindegürtel habe ich z.B. als Band für den Hut La Rochelle verwendet.
So kann man sich modisch effektiv vor UV Strahlen schützen.
