Do I need to apply sun cream under a boys' UV swimsuit?
No, there's no need to apply sun cream under the areas well covered by a Ker Sun boys' UV swimsuit.
Our models are designed with UPF 50+ certified fabrics, which effectively filter UVA and UVB rays, preventing them from reaching the skin.
In normal use, even when the UV index is high, the child's skin beneath the swimsuit is therefore effectively protected.
That said, it is essential to apply a child-suitable sun cream to all the areas that remain exposed: face, nape, ears, hands, legs or feet, depending on the model worn. For the best possible protection, we also recommend pairing the swim top with a UV hat as well as UV swim leggings.
