For your safety, our UV-protective clothing is classified as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by the European Union. As such, it is subject to strict regulatory checks, ensuring reliable and lasting protection, as well as consistent quality.

Does the UPF 50+ protection ever wash out?

The UPF 50+ protection does not wash out.

Our sun protective expertise has allowed us to develop fabrics that filter UV rays mechanically. Thanks to the meticulous choice of textile fibers, their optimized density and our advanced weaving techniques, we guarantee a UPF 50+ protection, without added sunscreens, which persists throughout the life of the product, even after many washes.

To preserve the quality and durability of your product, we recommend that you follow care instructions carefully specified on this product sheet (see above) or on the label.

Do I need to apply sunscreen underneath my UPF 50+ clothing?

With Ker Sun sun protective clothing and accessories, there’s no need to apply sunscreen on covered areas.

However, for full protection, it’s important to apply sunscreen to any exposed skin. We recommend applying sunscreen 30 minutes before sun exposure and reapplying every two hours or after swimming, in accordance with the instructions for the product you’re using.

Small and floppy brim

The brim is small and floppy, so it doesn't really covering from the sun at all. The mask also can't be adjust, so if it's too big then there's nothing you can do about it. Not to mention it's not cheap.

Not so great quality

I was expecting better quality. The product feels quite flimsy, and the visor doesn’t provide adequate protection for the eyes. Overall, it didn’t meet my expectations.

Bonne tenue mais problème de respirabilité

Je l’ai achetée pour la pratique du vélo en été. Je l’ai testée récemment alors que les températures sont nettement à la baisse en cette période d’automne. Elle a une bonne tenue mais la respirabilité pose problème. Elle est beaucoup trop chaude, ce qui occasionne un grand inconfort. La porter en été n’est pas envisageable. Je n’en aurai aucun usage.

Very light and comfortable.

Conforme à la description. Taille grand et tissu élastique, ne pas hésiter à prendre la taille en dessous. Par contre, ce n'est pas esthétique mais bon, safety first! .

Très bon investissement

À la base, je cherchais une simple casquette de vélo, n'imaginant pas que ce type de cagoule existe. Eh bien c'est encore mieux ! Le seul bémol : c'est un peu court sur les côtés du cou, je dois les replacer régulièrement. À part ça, elle est parfaite, agréable à porter, et j'ai été surprix de sa bonne respirabilité. Avec les gants, ça va clairement devenir un de mes accessoires phares de l'été.

Enfin un réel vêtement pour un sportif

Déjà +sieurs achats de vétements de sport et toujours déçu du tissus !!!! trop lourd comme tissus !!! donc jamais mis !!!! Par contre la cagoule est génial ... enfin un tissus très léger très respirant ... la preuve : une 2eme achetée !! Petite suggestion : faisant du triathlon : il manque un peu de longueur devant et derrière car souvent le cyclo où le coureur à pied mets un "" trisuit " et là ... il manque un peu de longueur pour le glisser sous le trisuit !!! Légère et efficace, mais améliorable

J’ai pris la cagoule en taille L/XL. Elle est très légère, agréable à porter, et protège efficacement la nuque et le cou à l’arrière comme à l’avant.
Cependant, je me permets une remarque (en espérant ne pas paraître trop pointilleux) : les côtés sont vraiment courts. Avec un casque de vélo, les sangles d’attache rabattent le tissu, ce qui laisse une partie du cou et des côtés exposée au soleil.
J’ai tenté de passer les sangles sous le tissu, ce qui améliore un peu les choses, mais le tissu remonte toujours un peu à cause de la tension.
Mais la cagoule est très bien conçue par ailleurs. Il aurait peut-être été préférable de la faire plus large de manière uniforme, et pas seulement longue devant et derrière.
Je comprends les contraintes de conception, et je tiens à dire que c’est un très bon produit dans l’ensemble. J’espère simplement que ce retour pourra aider à l’améliorer encore.

Unsere Kleidung bietet einen UV-Schutzfaktor UPF 50+, was gemäß den offiziellen europäischen, australischen, amerikanischen und auch schweizerischen Normen die höchstmögliche Schutzklasse darstellt.

Auch wenn manche Anbieter mit einem „UPF 80“ werben, möchten wir Sie darauf hinweisen, dass die Angabe „UPF 80“ keiner offiziell anerkannten öffentlichen Norm entspricht (weder in Europa, einschließlich der Schweiz, noch in Australien oder den USA) und daher irreführend sein kann.

Zur Transparenz: Das Modell, das Sie bestellt haben, wurde getestet und hat einen berechneten UPF-Wert von 80,55 erreicht. Dennoch geben wir UPF 50+ an, da wir uns strikt an die offiziellen Vorgaben halten – wie es auch bei Sonnenschutzcremes der Fall ist, bei denen die Skala ebenfalls bei SPF 50+ endet.

Was die Importkosten betrifft: Diese Gebühren werden direkt von den Transportunternehmen im Auftrag des Schweizer Zolls erhoben. Sie setzen sich in der Regel zusammen aus 13 CHF pro Bestellung, etwa 3 % Bearbeitungsgebühren sowie der gesetzlichen Schweizer Mehrwertsteuer (TVA).

Von unserer Seite aus verkaufen wir an unsere Schweizer Kund:innen ohne die französische Mehrwertsteuer, sodass Sie bereits einen steuerfreien Einkaufspreis erhalten.
