What does UPF 50+ mean?

This product is UPF 50+ certified.

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor. It is an index measuring the ability of a fabric or material to filter out ultraviolet rays. The UPF 50+ index is the highest UV protection certification in Europe, according to European standard EN 13758-1. An UV protective garment with UPF 50+ certification blocks over 98% of UV rays, protecting your skin from possible burns and lesions.

By way of comparison, a cotton summer t-shirt often has a protection factor of around UPF 5. This means that 20% of UV rays pass through the fabric, which is a lot for someone who has to stay out of the sun or is exposed to it for long periods of time.

How long does delivery take?

We ship with FedEx. Packages usually take around 5 business days to be delivered. It might take a few days more.

Can I check my order status and track my shipment?

Your tracking information will be emailed to you as soon as your order has been dispatched and you will be able to track your order online. 

Where are your products sent from?

All orders are dispatched from our warehouse in France. Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (French Time) and delivered on working days.

Do I have to pay any extra?

Our prices include all taxes and duties. You won’t have to pay any extra.

Returns

Conditions

The following conditions must be met:

  1. Item(s) must be returned within 30 days of delivery.
  2. Item(s) must be in their original condition, unworn, unsoiled, unwashed and in their original packaging. If this is not the case, the item(s) will not be accepted. 
  3. All exchanges are final and cannot be returned for a refund or further exchange.

Refunds

A full refund will be credited back to your original payment method. The refund will be processed as soon as we receive your parcel, but please allow 2-5 business days for your account to be credited.

Customers in the US:

  1. Please send us an email to bonjour@ker-sun.com telling us what product you want to return and your order number
  2. We will come back to you within 2 business days with the return label
  3. Ker Sun does not cover the cost of return postage. For those based in the US, it is a fixed cost of USD$9

Can I make an exchange?

To make an exchange, you must place a new order. Ker Sun will cover the shipping cost of the exchange. Just email us to get the discount code or to get the refund if you have already paid for it online.

Water does not stop UV rays. When you are in the water, your skin is therefore vulnerable to the dangers of the sun. This is why we have developed this high quality Italian sun protective fabric, specifically designed for swimming.
UPF 50+ certified, it will protect you from the sun's harmful rays, in and out of the water, whether you are at the beach, at the pool or enjoying your favorite water activities (swimming, kite surfing , sailing, canoeing, paddle...).
Eco-designed (51% recycled polyester), it is breathable and slightly stretchy to offer you optimal comfort. It dries very quickly so you don't feel cold when you get out of the water, and is resistant to chlorine, salt water, sun creams and oils to accompany you on all your escapades.
Finally, its matte finish will bring you elegance in all your activities. And this fabric will remain opaque even in water (except for white colored fabric).
