In Annecy, in the heart of the French Alps, we design our collections, select each fabric, create prototypes, and carry out UV-protection tests as well as quality control. Our team also provides attentive and accessible customer service there. From our logistics hub in Burgundy, in north-eastern France, your orders are carefully prepared and shipped worldwide.

This product is made in China, in the Shanghai region, a cradle of textile expertise recognised worldwide. Dyeing, weaving, tailoring – every step is carried out locally by our trusted partners, carefully selected for their know-how and the rigour of their production standards. This choice is deliberate: it allows us to combine outstanding quality, durability, and controlled pricing, without ever compromising your health.

For your safety, our UV-protective clothing is classified as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by the European Union. As such, it is subject to strict regulatory checks, ensuring reliable and lasting protection, as well as consistent quality.

And because your needs are not all the same, we have also developed a range of garments made in Portugal, using local fabrics that combine European craftsmanship and excellence.

Does the UPF 50+ protection ever wash out?

The UPF 50+ protection does not wash out.

Our sun protective expertise has allowed us to develop fabrics that filter UV rays mechanically. Thanks to the meticulous choice of textile fibers, their optimized density and our advanced weaving techniques, we guarantee a UPF 50+ protection, without added sunscreens, which persists throughout the life of the product, even after many washes.

To preserve the quality and durability of your product, we recommend that you follow care instructions carefully specified on this product sheet (see above) or on the label.

Do I need to apply sunscreen underneath my UPF 50+ clothing?

With Ker Sun sun protective clothing and accessories, there’s no need to apply sunscreen on covered areas.

However, for full protection, it’s important to apply sunscreen to any exposed skin. We recommend applying sunscreen 30 minutes before sun exposure and reapplying every two hours or after swimming, in accordance with the instructions for the product you’re using.

Beau T-shirt pour les randonnées

Le T-shirt me plait beaucoup. Je l'ai acheté pour la randonnée et je le porte finalement aussi beaucoup en ville (j'aurais dès lors préféré un logo un peu plus discret, en ton sur ton par exemple). Je l'ai acheté en deux couleurs, le blanc et le rouge (qui déteint au lavage mais reste vif et beau). Il faut prendre en compte qu'il taille relativement étroit.

"Avec ce T-shirt anti-UV Boston, finis les méfaits du soleil et ses rayons"

Taille S parfaite pour mon gabarit. Belle tenue. Essayé sur un parcours de golf avec temps ensoleillé : matière très agréable à porter, souple, rafraichissante et respirante. Bonne protection incluant poignets, dessus des mains et décolleté (allergie récente au soleil). Sa coupe près du corps permet de mettre un polo de golf par-dessus (je peux donc garder ma garde-robe) et permet de le porter seul aussi. Après un lavage à la main, il a séché en quelques heures sans modifier sa tenue. J'ai pu le réutiliser rapidement avec les mêmes bonnes sensations.

Utilisé pour des randos pédestres en montagne. Très bonne qualité, épais, un peu chaud par temps très très chaud. Longues manches bien couvrantes. La fente pour le pouce est étrangement placée quand on ne l'utilise pas: sur le dos de la main. De fait, quand on l'utilise, la manche vrille un peu, mais cela n'est pas gênant. Les poignées de mes bâtons ont un peu déteint dessus le 1er jour et tout n'est pas parti aux lavages (mais cela reste anecdotique). Pour le moment, après 3 ou 4 randos, excellente résistance aux frottements avec le sac à dos (bretelles, bas du dos). Produit que je recommande. J'en rachèterai un autre sans hésiter si un jour d'autres coloris sont proposés (rouge, violet, vert, orange).
