In Annecy, in the heart of the French Alps, we design our collections, select each fabric, create prototypes, and carry out UV-protection tests as well as quality control. Our team also provides attentive and accessible customer service there. From our logistics hub in Burgundy, in north-eastern France, your orders are carefully prepared and shipped worldwide.

This product is made in China, in the Shanghai region, a cradle of textile expertise recognised worldwide. Dyeing, weaving, tailoring – every step is carried out locally by our trusted partners, carefully selected for their know-how and the rigour of their production standards. This choice is deliberate: it allows us to combine outstanding quality, durability, and controlled pricing, without ever compromising your health.

For your safety, our UV-protective clothing is classified as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by the European Union. As such, it is subject to strict regulatory checks, ensuring reliable and lasting protection, as well as consistent quality.

And because your needs are not all the same, we have also developed a range of garments made in Portugal, using local fabrics that combine European craftsmanship and excellence.

Ker Sun’s UV-protective clothing and accessories are designed to provide high-performance protection for all skin types, including the most sensitive.

Certified UPF 50+ and classified as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with current European standards, our products offer the highest level of textile protection against UVA and UVB radiation as defined by regulations.

Does the UPF 50+ protection ever wash out?

The UPF 50+ protection does not wash out.

Our sun protective expertise has allowed us to develop fabrics that filter UV rays mechanically. Thanks to the meticulous choice of textile fibers, their optimized density and our advanced weaving techniques, we guarantee a UPF 50+ protection, without added sunscreens, which persists throughout the life of the product, even after many washes.

To preserve the quality and durability of your product, we recommend that you follow care instructions carefully specified on this product sheet (see above) or on the label.

Do I need to apply sunscreen underneath my UPF 50+ clothing?

With Ker Sun sun protective clothing and accessories, there’s no need to apply sunscreen on covered areas.

However, for full protection, it’s important to apply sunscreen to any exposed skin. We recommend applying sunscreen 30 minutes before sun exposure and reapplying every two hours or after swimming, in accordance with the instructions for the product you’re using.

Which certification or standard does this product meet for sun protection?

This garment is certified UPF 50+, providing you with the highest level of sun protection. Every fabric, regardless of color, undergoes rigorous testing under the European standard EN 13758-1 for each new production run, ensuring maximum, reliable, and safe protection.

Ich habe es mir zum Bergsteigen gekauft und bin ganz begeistert. Der Stoff ist sehr dünn und elastisch und schmiegt sich perfekt an die Haut an. Es wirkt kühlend und hat nach einem langen anstrengenden Bergtag keinerlei Schweißgeruch gehabt, sodass ich es mehrere Tage tragen konnte und vor der Sommersonne geschützt war.

Satisfaite pour le côté légèreté et protection anti uv en même temps. Bien adapté aux périodes de chaleur. Très protecteur (col rond, manches longues) et non collant, c'est top.
Source d'amélioration : travailler sur des vêtements légers mais aussi esthétique, élégant, féminin. Beaucoup de vêtements sont typés sport ou "mémérisant".

T-shirt très léger. La taille correspond bien, mais j'avoue que je ne m'attendais pas à cette matière pour un t-shirt. Après une 1ère utilisation, j'ai la sensation de porter un haut maillot de bain. Je ne pense pas pouvoir l'utiliser pour des randos en montagne comme je l'espérais.

Nous sommes ravis d’apprendre que la taille vous convient parfaitement, mais nous comprenons tout à fait votre surprise concernant la matière. Le t-shirt Oasis est conçu dans un tissu technique hautement respirant, à la fois ultra léger et fluide, justement pensé pour apporter un maximum de confort même par forte chaleur.

Ce tissu est apprécié pour les activités sportives (comme la marche rapide, le vélo ou le running), mais nous comprenons qu’il puisse ne pas correspondre à ce que vous recherchiez pour la randonnée.
Nous pouvons vous suggérer la chemise séquoia qui a été pensé pour faire de la randonnée, la chemise dispose d’aérations dorsales pour avoir plus de respirabilité le col est redevable, maintenu par un bouton pour une protection solaire complète.
