Practical tip : to take the measurement, you should stand at the strongest point of your head. This is in the middle of the forehead, usually 1 cm above the eyebrows, where the hat will rest. Take the measurement with your head upright and the tape horizontal.

The elastic drawstring and ventilation of the side panels ensure that the UPF 50+ protection stays cool and in place during all your activities. Designed for easy packing, the collapsible foam brim lets you take the UV hat with you wherever you go.

This product is UPF 50+ certified.
UPF stands for "Ultraviolet Protection Factor". It is an index measuring the ability of a fabric or material to filter ultraviolet rays. The UPF 50+ index is the highest anti-UV certification in Europe, according to European standard EN 13758-1. A UPF 50+-certified UV garment blocks over 98% of UV rays, protecting your skin against possible burns and lesions.
By way of comparison, a cotton summer t-shirt often has a protection factor of UPF 5 or above. This means that 20% of UV rays pass through the fabric, which is a lot for someone who has to stay out of the sun or is exposed to it for long periods.

Returns for refund are possible up to 14 days from delivery*. We will refund the full amount of the returned product(s).

We offer the return shipping label for returns from metropolitan France, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and peninsular Spain.

About Ker Sun
Ker Sun is above all a personal story. About ten years ago, Claudia, our co-founder, was diagnosed with Lupus, an autoimmune disease that forces her to be extremely careful with her sun protection. That day, she felt like she was losing some of her freedom. Like many, she no longer felt safe going outside.
In 2019, to make wearable sun protection accessible, we launched Ker Sun. Ker Sun's mission is to protect every person from sun damage.
