Our team also provides attentive and accessible customer service there. From our logistics hub in Burgundy, in north-eastern France, your orders are carefully prepared and shipped worldwide.

This product is made in China, in the Shanghai region, a cradle of textile expertise recognised worldwide. Dyeing, weaving, tailoring – every step is carried out locally by our trusted partners, carefully selected for their know-how and the rigour of their production standards. This choice is deliberate: it allows us to combine outstanding quality, durability, and controlled pricing, without ever compromising your health.

For your safety, our UV-protective clothing is classified as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by the European Union. As such, it is subject to strict regulatory checks, ensuring reliable and lasting protection, as well as consistent quality.

And because your needs are not all the same, we have also developed a range of garments made in Portugal, using local fabrics that combine European craftsmanship and excellence.

Washing and care instructions

  • Machine wash inside out (30°C maximum). Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry.
  • Can be ironed (110°C maximum) except on the collar magnet.

Does the UPF 50+ protection ever wash out?

The UPF 50+ protection does not wash out.

Our sun protective expertise has allowed us to develop fabrics that filter UV rays mechanically. Thanks to the meticulous choice of textile fibers, their optimized density and our advanced weaving techniques, we guarantee a UPF 50+ protection, without added sunscreens, which persists throughout the life of the product, even after many washes.

To preserve the quality and durability of your product, we recommend that you follow care instructions carefully specified on this product sheet (see above) or on the label.

Do I need to apply sunscreen underneath my UPF 50+ clothing?

With Ker Sun sun protective clothing and accessories, there’s no need to apply sunscreen on covered areas.

However, for full protection, it’s important to apply sunscreen to any exposed skin. We recommend applying sunscreen 30 minutes before sun exposure and reapplying every two hours or after swimming, in accordance with the instructions for the product you’re using.

Schickes UV-Hemd "nach Maß"

Endlich kann ich aufatmen beim Auto fahren. Mein Autofahrer-Arm und der Handrücken haben seit längerer Zeit vollkommen genug von der Sonne. Die Haut hat immer unerträglicher gebrannt, das Autofahren ist immer schwieriger geworden. Ich
habe schon aus einem alten Hemd einen Schutz genäht. Etwas hat geholfen, aber nicht lang.
Für Sportler gibt eine breite Auswahl von der Schutzbekleidung. Die sind aber nicht
alltagstauglich.
Das Hemd ist einfach perfekt, die Farbe ist angenehm, wie nach Maß. Die Magneten
im Kragen waren eine gute Idee, die brauche ich beim Kofferraum einzuräumen nach
einem Einkauf. Der Stoff ist leicht kühlend und der Arm spürt die Sonne nicht mehr.

Materiaal houdt UV straling niet tegen.

Product gekocht i.v.m Zonne-netelroos (Urticaria Solaris), helaas geen goede ervaring. Zowel borst als rug waren verbrand tijdens het dragen van deze blouse. De blouse is wel mooi met goede pasvorm maar daarvoor hebben we het niet gekocht!

Wij hebben de door u teruggestuurde blouse opnieuw laten testen. Uit deze test is gebleken dat de blouse voldoet aan UPF 50+ en daarmee de aangegeven UV-bescherming biedt.

Attention aux tailles

La chemise est un peu plus blanc cassé que blanche et relativement légère.
Par contre elle taille plus grand que normal (un L est plutôt un XL) donc je flotte dedans…
Mauvaise surprise de recevoir une facture de droits de douanes pour la Suisse en plus du prix affiché en Francs Suisse sur le site, donc pas envie non plus de renvoyer le produit pour changer les tailles et par conséquent peu de chance de recommander à l’avenir.

Obviando la principal razón por la que hice la compra -la protección contra la radiación UV les digo que son comodísimas y me quedan como para ir de fiesta, por su diseño, destacando el cuello tipo "cisne" que se sujeta con los imanes y protege garganta y nuca.
