Do I need to apply sunscreen underneath my UPF 50+ clothing?

With Ker Sun sun protective clothing and accessories, there’s no need to apply sunscreen on covered areas.

However, for full protection, it’s important to apply sunscreen to any exposed skin. We recommend applying sunscreen 30 minutes before sun exposure and reapplying every two hours or after swimming, in accordance with the instructions for the product you’re using.

Great protection, could be sturdier

Works great as a sun shirt -- wore it for hours while hiking without my skin turning pink at all, and the fabric kept me cool the whole time!
The only problem is that the stitching on the sleeves was pretty delicate, so it started to come undone from just my walking stick! I ended up wearing it without the hand protection most of the time. I'm also confused about the sizing. I followed the size calculator on the website and was surprised to find out that an L would fit me best, even though I am usually a size S/M. The shirt I ordered did actually fit me well, but I wonder how anyone slightly larger than me would find clothing that fits from this brand??
Overall very happy, but hopefully this feedback can help inform better decisions about future product designs.

Ho la pelle molto chiara e sono stufa di mettere sempre la crema. Era un po' che studiavo queste sun hoodie e devo dire che questa mi sta piacendo molto! Leggerissima (anche se comunque si sente addosso se fa molto caldo) e non puzza subito di plastica anche se ci si suda dentro. Per ora molto soddisfatta, la sto pubblicizzando a tutti i miei amici bianchicci! (Top per la montagna)

This piece of clothing has been extremely useful

This piece of clothing has been extremely useful. I have to protect myself against the sun, but sometimes I still have to go outdoors when the UV index is high. This hoodie has made sports and walks possible and enjoyable.
Only I would wish that there was a few more colour options, for example dark blue. The shirt I bought i white, and it got cloured stains in the first was from another fabric. On a darker fabric such things would not show so easily.
