In Annecy, in the heart of the French Alps, we design our collections, select each fabric, create prototypes, and carry out UV-protection tests as well as quality control. Our team also provides attentive and accessible customer service there. From our logistics hub in Burgundy, in north-eastern France, your orders are carefully prepared and shipped worldwide.

This product is made in China, in the Shanghai region, a cradle of textile expertise recognised worldwide. Dyeing, weaving, tailoring – every step is carried out locally by our trusted partners, carefully selected for their know-how and the rigour of their production standards. This choice is deliberate: it allows us to combine outstanding quality, durability, and controlled pricing, without ever compromising your health.

For your safety, our UV-protective clothing is classified as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by the European Union. As such, it is subject to strict regulatory checks, ensuring reliable and lasting protection, as well as consistent quality.

And because your needs are not all the same, we have also developed a range of garments made in Portugal, using local fabrics that combine European craftsmanship and excellence.

Is this product suitable for my skin type?

Ker Sun’s UV-protective clothing and accessories are designed to provide high-performance protection for all skin types, including the most sensitive.

Certified UPF 50+ and classified as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with current European standards, our products offer the highest level of textile protection against UVA and UVB radiation as defined by regulations.

They help reduce UV exposure during outdoor activities, supporting a safer and more confident experience in the sun.

Does the UPF 50+ protection ever wash out?

The UPF 50+ protection does not wash out.

Our sun protective expertise has allowed us to develop fabrics that filter UV rays mechanically. Thanks to the meticulous choice of textile fibers, their optimized density and our advanced weaving techniques, we guarantee a UPF 50+ protection, without added sunscreens, which persists throughout the life of the product, even after many washes.

To preserve the quality and durability of your product, we recommend that you follow care instructions carefully specified on this product sheet (see above) or on the label.

Do I need to apply sunscreen underneath my UPF 50+ clothing?

With Ker Sun sun protective clothing and accessories, there’s no need to apply sunscreen on covered areas.

However, for full protection, it’s important to apply sunscreen to any exposed skin. We recommend applying sunscreen 30 minutes before sun exposure and reapplying every two hours or after swimming, in accordance with the instructions for the product you’re using.

Manque de tenue

Un peu déçue par cette chemise qui a beaucoup déteint lors de son premier lavage. L’étiquette de la marque est d’ailleurs toute bleutée à présent. La matière est certes agréablement légère mais manque cruellement de tenue pour cette coupe très ample et se chiffonne à mon grand regret très vite.

Draagt prettig en blij met de extra lange mouwen. Omdat het een Frans merk is heb ik me aan hun maattabel gehouden, maar is wel erg ruim. Kan echter ook handig zijn met bijv. een trui eronder.

Je ne l’ai pas encore portée, par contre je viens de voir ce n’est que upf 40, moi qui ai la peau si fragile, je ne suis pas certaine d’être totalement protégée en cas de soleil ardent !

Ce produit est en effet affiché UPF40+. Même si la majorité de nos tests ont affiché des résultats bien supérieurs à UPF50+ sur ce produit, certains tests UPF ont affichés des résultats atteignant un UPF 49 sur certaines zones.

C’est la raison pour laquelle nous affichons ce produit en UPF40+ sur notre site, avec un prix remisé.

Un UPF 49 signifie que le vêtement vous protège 49 fois plus longtemps que sans protection solaire. La différence avec un UPF 50+ (protection 50 fois plus longue) est donc minime.

Ce produit reste parfaitement conforme à la réglementation européenne et aux normes EN 13758-1 et EN 13758-2, qui consière un vêtement comme « anti-UV » dès un UPF 40+.

Die meisten Blusen/Hemden mit gutem UV-Schutz sind für Outdoor Aktivitäten gemacht. Für den Alltag wünschte ich mir eine eher schicke Bluse. Und da gibt es nur wenig im Angebot. Diese Bluse erfüllt alle meine Erwartungen.

La chemise est vraiment très jolie, le tissu est confortable, léger, souple, avec un rendu bien net même après un long voyage plié dans une valise.
La coupe est parfaite et le tombé impeccable.
Jj’ai pris une taille 34/36 qui convient très bien ( je fais un 36 ou xs habituellement).

Merci pour votre intérêt pour notre chemise Antibes. Le coloris "bleu ciel" ne fait pas partie de notre collection pour ce modèle, mais nous avons une jolie alternative à vous proposer !

La chemise Antibes est actuellement disponible en bleu ensoleillé, et ce dans toutes les tailles, à l'exception de la taille XXL.

Sachez que toutes les couleurs et tailles actuellement disponibles pour ce modèle sont déjà en ligne sur notre site. Nous ne prévoyons pas de réapprovisionnement (nouveaux stocks) pour cette chemise dans un avenir proche.
