This sun protective neck gaiter is comfortable, breathable and protects you from the sun, while you play sports or stay on the water for hours. Its fabric protects you without getting hot, so you can spend more time enjoying your activity!
Please note: this anti-UV neck gaiter is UPF 50+ certified for normal use of the product, i.e. when worn around the neck without stretching. This product is no longer UPF 50+ certified if over-stretched or deformed (by being worn over the nose, for example).

This product is UPF 50+ certified.
UPF stands for "Ultraviolet Protection Factor". It is an index measuring the ability of a fabric or material to filter ultraviolet rays. The UPF 50+ index is the highest anti-UV certification in Europe, according to European standard EN 13758-1. A UPF 50+-certified UV garment blocks over 98% of UV rays, protecting your skin against possible burns and lesions.
By way of comparison, a cotton summer t-shirt often has a protection factor of UPF 5 or above. This means that 20% of UV rays pass through the fabric, which is a lot for someone who has to stay out of the sun or is exposed to it for long periods.
At KER SUN, your safety is our priority. That's why we use our own laboratory to test the anti-UV clothing and accessories we offer on our online store, to make sure they comply with UPF 50+ certification.

About Ker Sun
Ker Sun is above all a personal story. About ten years ago, Claudia, our co-founder, was diagnosed with Lupus, an autoimmune disease that forces her to be extremely careful with her sun protection. That day, she felt like she was losing some of her freedom. Like many, she no longer felt safe going outside.
